Jaipur

Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, is known as the "Pink City" due to its distinct pink-colored buildings. 1. Amber Fort (Amer Fort)

  • Located on a hilltop about 11 kilometers from Jaipur, Amber Fort is a stunning blend of Rajput  architecture. Built in the 16th century, the fort is known for its intricate carvings, beautiful courtyards, and majestic gateways. Highlights include the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace), Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audience), and Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audience). 2. City Palace

  • The City Palace, located in the heart of Jaipur, is a grand complex of palaces, courtyards, and museums. It was the seat of the Maharaja of Jaipur and still houses the royal family. The palace is an excellent example of Rajput and European architecture. Inside, you can visit the Chandra Mahal (royal residence) and the Mubarak Mahal, which houses a museum showcasing royal costumes, armory, and artifacts.
